Terms of service

Last updated October 19, 2026. These terms govern your use of industrialimaging.com and the services offered on it. By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms. If you use the service for a company, you confirm that you may accept them on its behalf.

1. Definitions

  • "Administrator", "we" or "us" means the administrator of the industrialimaging.com service, reachable at [email protected].
  • "Service" means the website, the inspection method advisor, the request for quote (RFQ) builder, provider profiles, matching and related features.
  • "Buyer" means a user who describes a part or asset and sends requests for quote.
  • "Provider" means a business that offers inspection, testing, imaging or measurement services and holds a provider subscription.
  • "Inspection contract" means any agreement between a buyer and a provider for inspection work.

2. What the service does

The service helps buyers choose an inspection method and send structured requests for quote to matched providers, and helps providers present their capabilities and receive matched requests. The service is intended for business use.

The method advisor gives guidance, not certification

The method advisor produces a ranked recommendation, reasons, limits, typical turnaround and typical price bands based on what you enter. This is general guidance to help you plan and compare. It is not an engineering assessment, an inspection procedure, a certification, a code compliance decision or a quote. Price bands are typical estimates only. The choice of method, the acceptance criteria and the release of any part or asset remain the responsibility of the buyer and its qualified personnel, together with the provider performing the work.

3. Accounts

You must give a valid email address and confirm it with the code we send. You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for activity under your account and the seats you assign. Information you provide, including provider certifications and capabilities, must be accurate and kept current. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other users at risk.

4. Use by buyers

Buyers use the service free of charge. You decide which matched providers receive your files and identifying details. You must have the right to share any drawings, images and data you upload, and you must not upload data whose transfer is restricted by law or by your agreements, including export controlled technical data, unless you are entitled to share it with the recipient.

5. Provider subscriptions and billing

  • Providers use the service on a paid subscription plan. Plans, prices, included matched RFQs, methods, states, seats and features are shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase.
  • Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically for the same period until cancelled.
  • Matched RFQ allowances count usage within the billing period. Unused allowance does not carry over, and deleting or declining a request does not restore allowance.
  • Upgrading to a higher plan or from monthly to yearly billing charges the price difference immediately. Moving to a lower plan takes effect without a refund to your card.
  • Prices may change for future periods. We notify you by email before a change applies to your next renewal.
  • Taxes are added where the law requires.

Payments are final

All payments are final and non refundable. The only exceptions are a duplicate charge for the same period, a charge that is proven to be unauthorized, and a total failure of the service that we cause and do not fix within a reasonable time. In those cases contact [email protected] and we correct the charge.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time in your account. Cancellation stops the next renewal. It does not refund the current period, and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.

Consumers in the European Union

The service is intended for businesses. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have a statutory right of withdrawal from a distance contract. When you start a subscription you ask us to begin performance immediately and you acknowledge that your right of withdrawal expires once the service has been fully performed or, for digital services, once performance has begun with your consent. Where you did not give that consent, your statutory right applies.

6. Buyers and providers contract directly

Inspection contracts are made directly between the buyer and the provider. We are not a party to them, we do not perform, supervise or guarantee any inspection, and we are not responsible for prices, schedules, quality, results, reports, certifications or payments under them. Providers are independent businesses, and the certifications and accreditations shown on profiles are stated by the providers. Buyers should verify qualifications, insurance and scope before placing an order.

7. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • break the law, infringe intellectual property or breach confidentiality obligations;
  • upload malware, attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours, or test the security of the service without our written permission;
  • scrape, copy or resell the service, profiles or requests, or use automated means to access it beyond normal use;
  • post false, misleading or unverified claims about certifications, capabilities or results;
  • use contact details from the service to send unsolicited marketing;
  • send requests that are not genuine inspection needs.

8. Your content and our rights

You keep ownership of the content you upload. You give us a limited license to host, process and display it as needed to run the service, including sharing it with providers you approve. We own the service, its software and its design. Feedback you send us may be used without obligation to you.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided as is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non infringement, and we do not warrant that the service is uninterrupted or error free or that any recommendation fits your case.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, production losses, or damages arising from any inspection, part failure or inspection contract. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or 100 USD if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims by third parties that arise from your content, your inspection contracts or your breach of these terms.

10. Changes to the service and these terms

We may change the service and these terms. For material changes to these terms we notify account holders by email before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated terms.

Termination

You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms, with notice where reasonable. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including payments, disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnity, survive.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law applicable at the administrator's seat, without regard to conflict of law rules, unless mandatory consumer protection law where you live gives you other rights.

Privacy and contact

How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy, and how we protect files on the inspection data security page. Questions about these terms go to [email protected].
